The Proxxon 38070 FKS/E Table Saw is the ideal machine for model building, picture framing, dollhouses, birdhouses and other intricate projects. Great machine for straight, miter, and compound cuts. Useable on all wood types, non-ferrous metals, plastics, as well as rubber, cork and other soft materials.
Compact size makes the saw ideal for model builders, toy makers, architects, cabinet makers. Even the smallest items can be cut so cleanly that little or no finishing is required. Very sturdy construction with load bearing parts made of die cast aluminum.
The machined aluminum work table measures 11-1/2 inches x 9-1/2 inches. 2 miter gauge slots are provided as well as miter gauge and fence. An extension wing is housed integrally and pulled out easily to increase the table width to 19-5/8 inches. Has very quiet DC moor and on Optibelt toothed belt producing high torque. the electronic speed control offers speeds of 4400-6800 rpm so you can cut even the most delicate materials without overheating them.
The blade arbor has ball bearings and is fitted with a 3-5/32 inch diameter, 13/32 inch 24 tooth carbide tipped blade. Machine cuts 1 inch at 90° and 3/4 inch for 45° miters. Blade height is adjustable for 1/32 inch to 1 inch
