Cut and Trim Tiles Quickly and Easily
Designed for the precision cutting and trimming of tiles up to 36 inches in length, the MK Diamond MK-212-4 features a 2-horsepower, 120-volt, fully enclosed, direct-drive electric motor that spins at a speed of 3,400 RPM to cut through granite, marble, porcelain, and other large tiles. The 10-inch diamond blade, with 5/8-inch arbor, provides a 36-inch length of cut, a 24-inch diagonal cut, and a 2-inch depth of cut. Plunge cutting capabilities allow for scoring and cutting large tiles, while a fully adjustable, tilting head allows easy and precise 45-degree miter cuts up to 1-1/2-inches deep.
Easy Blade Changes, Precise Cuts, and Accurate Placement
Easy to use, the MK-212-4 has a blade guard that accommodates up to a 10-inch profile wheel, as well as a pivoting blade guard for easy blade changes. The cutting head is mounted on a roller-bearing carriage that runs on a stainless-steel rail, which makes for smoother, more precise cuts. The MK-212-4 also features a 90-degree cutting guide for accurate material placement, and friction locks on both head-height adjustment and carriage trowel.
Cutting Surface Prevents Slippage
Both user-friendly and safe, the MK-212-4 features a 1/4-inch rubber cutting surface to keep material from slipping, and it includes built-in lifting handles for easy transporting.
Ready to go with minimal assembly, the MK-212-4 also includes one 10-inch MK415 diamond blade, a 12-inch adjustable cutting guide, a rip guide, and water pump. To expand flexibility, optional accessories (sold separately) include profile wheels--MK-275 series for marble and MK-275G sintered profile wheels for granite, and a side table.
